Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bristle manufactured from a polyester-based resin comprising reduced graphene oxide, and a manufacturing method thereof. Specifically, the present invention relates to a bristle manufactured from a polyester-based resin and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein a synthetic resin composition comprising reduced graphene oxide and the polyester-based resin is extruded, cooled, elongated, and then, using an alkali solution, tapered. An embodiment of the present invention comprises reduced graphene oxide, thereby improving the mechanical properties of the bristle such as tensile strength and modulus, and imparting functionality such as an anti-static effect, anti-bacterial performance, and far-infrared emission. An embodiment of the present invention may provide an oral bristle and a brush using same, the oral bristle having excellent anti-bacterial properties, a low denier due to an increased modulus, and a heightened sensation of cleanliness due to craters formed on the surface thereof. Thus, it is possible to provide a bristle and a brush that are anti-static, anti-bacterial, and capable of emitting far infrared rays, and thus suitable for application to the human body, while simultaneously having satisfactory mechanical strength such as tensile strength and modulus.
