Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a broadband antenna that can transmit and receive radio waves over a broadband, and can emit radio waves over a far distance (increase radiation gain) in a state in which a prescribed electric field intensity is maintained. [Solution] A broadband antenna 10A is provided with: an unbalanced power supply member 11 having a power supply section 20 and a non-power supply section 21; a resonating conductor 12 that resonates with the power supply section 20 of the unbalanced power supply member 11; a ground conductor 13 that resonates with the non-power supply section 21 of the unbalanced power supply member 11; and a fixing conductor 14 positioned between the resonating conductor 12 and the ground conductor 13 and connected to the unbalanced power supply member 11. The resonating conductor 12 is formed from a first resonance conductor section 22a extending forward in the axial direction from the fixing conductor 14 in parallel with the power supply section 20, and from a second resonance conductor section 22b extending forward in the axial direction from the fixing conductor 14 in parallel with the power supply section 20. The ground conductor 13 is formed from a first ground conductor section 25a extending rearward in the axial direction from the fixing conductor 14 in parallel with the non-power supply section 21, and a second ground conductor section 25b extending rearward in the axial direction from the fixing conductor 14 in parallel with the non-power supply section 21.
