Title:
BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR THAT STARTS STABLY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1996/009689
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a synchronous operation condition in which the voltage and frequency of inverter output are increased at the time of the start, a V/F pattern setting unit (44) outputs a voltage instruction signal to the PWM unit (54) so as to lower the inverter output voltage either if a voltage signal detector (41) detects a signal below a predetermined level or if a mode comparator (42) indicates no predetermined relationship between the position signal and the inverter mode. If the signal detected by the detector (41) is at the predetermined level and a fixed relation is found between the position signal and the inverter mode, on the other hand, a position detection operation switching unit (43) changes the operation switch SW over to the side of position detection operation from the side of synchronous operation.
