Abstract:
A bulk feeder (100) is provided with: a storage section (156) that stores multiple electronic components in a loose state; and supply paths (142, 166) that guide the electronic components stored in the storage section to the supply position of the electronic components, which are guided in a state of arrangement into a single row. In said bulk feeder (100), the supply paths are configured from a magnetism-reliant supply path (144) and air-pressure-reliant supply paths (146, 166). Said magnetism-reliant supply path (144) is for arranging the electronic components stored in the storage section into a single row, and is for feeding said electronic components from the storage section, said arranging and feeding being done by relying on the magnetism of a permanent magnet (140). Said air-pressure-reliant supply paths (146, 166) are connected to the magnetism-reliant supply path, and are for feeding to the supply position, the electronic components fed from the magnetism-reliant supply path, said feeding being done by relying on air emitted from air paths (160, 168, 170). By means of the aforementioned structure, the benefits of magnetism and air pressure can be appropriately combined, thereby enabling the electronic components to be suitably supplied, and improving the utility of the bulk feeder.
