Abstract:
A cable tracing method, and customer-premises equipment. The method is applicable to customer-premises equipment (CPE), and comprises: upon detection of CPE being powered, generating a predetermined signal; and coupling the predetermined signal to a digital subscriber line (DSL) connected to the CPE to enable detection of the predetermined signal by means of a port connected to the DSL among ports of a distribution frame. Embodiments of the present invention improve cable tracing efficiency.
