Abstract:
A calibration device for an orientation sensor, comprising an orb (20) accommodating an orientation sensor (10), a first power transmission part (33a) that is in contact with the orb (20) at a first contact point and transmits power for rotating the orb (20) via the first contact point, a second power transmission part (33b) that is in contact with the orb (20) at a second contact point and transmits power for rotating the orb (20) via the second contact point, and a control device (40) for changing the orientation of the orb by transmitting power from both the first power transmission part (33a) and second power transmission part (33b), wherein the orb (20) rotation produced by the first power transmission part (33a) is rotation centered on a rotation axis passing through the second contact point and the orb (20) rotation produced by the second power transmission part (33b) is rotation centered on a rotation axis passing through the first contact point.
