Abstract:
A camera is provided with a display having a touch panel arranged thereon; a detector
for detecting positions of the fingers of a user on the touch panel when the user
grasps the camera, based on output from the touch panel; a display layout determining
section for determining display layout of display elements to be displayed on
the display, based on the detection results from the detector; a display control
section for displaying the display element on the display, in accordance with
the display layout determined by the display layout determining section; and
a registering section for registering information relating to at least the display
layout determined by the display layout determining section or the positions
of the fingers detected by the detector, as registered information.
