Abstract:
A problem to be solved by the present invention is to improve productivity of a manufacturing system. The present invention is a device comprising a can trunk forming device, a printing device, and a branched conveyor. The can trunk forming device forms a can trunk. The printing device prints on an external face of the can trunk and includes a printing device inlet conveyor. The branched conveyor is installed in a post process of the can trunk forming device and includes a path switching portion. One branch of the branched conveyor is connected to the printing device inlet conveyor leading to the printing device and then to a printed can production unit. The other branch of the branched conveyor is connected to a bypass inlet conveyor without passing through the printing device, leading to a blank can production unit. The problem is solved by a can body production system characterized in being capable of producing printed cans manufactured in the printed can production unit and blank cans without print manufactured in the blank can production unit, through switching of the path switching portion.
