Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a capacitive fingerprint detection apparatus, a volume adjustment method, and an electronic device, capable of optimizing the overall performance of an electronic device where the capacitive fingerprint detection apparatus is located. The capacitive fingerprint detection apparatus is used for implementing a volume adjustment function of an electronic device. The capacitive fingerprint detection apparatus comprises a capacitive fingerprint sensor and a processing unit, the processing unit being configured to control, when a finger of a user presses the capacitive fingerprint sensor, the capacitive fingerprint sensor to acquire multiple frames of fingerprint images; determine a pressing position, corresponding to each of the multiple frames of fingerprint images, of the finger of the user on the capacitive fingerprint sensor; and determine, according to the pressing position corresponding to each frame of fingerprint image, whether to adjust the volume of an electronic device.
