Abstract:
A capacitor provided with a seat plate, comprising a capacitor body and a seat plate for holding the capacitor body. The capacitor body comprises a columnar case. The case has a tube part and a bottom wall that closes one end of the tube part, and the other end part of the tube part is closed off by a sealing member, and is arranged towards the seat plate. The seat plate has a base, and a support wall extending along the circumferential surface of the tube part from the base. The tube part has a ring-shaped recess that is recessed toward the sealing member at a site where contact is made with the sealing member, and has a first maximum diameter part closer to the bottom wall than the ring-shaped recess and a second maximum diameter part closer to the opening end than the ring-shaped recess. A diameter A of the first maximum diameter part, a diameter B of the second maximum diameter part, and an inner diameter C of the support wall satisfy A > C > B when the capacitor body is not mounted in the seat plate.
