Abstract:
This carbon dioxide recovery system comprises: a cooling tower that cools a gas that includes carbon dioxide by bringing the gas into contact with cooling water; an absorption tower that causes the carbon dioxide to be absorbed by an absorbent liquid by bringing the gas cooled in the cooling tower into contact with the absorbent liquid; a regeneration tower that heats the absorbent liquid that has absorbed the carbon dioxide in the absorption tower and causes the carbon dioxide to be released from the absorbent liquid; and a heat pump that directly or indirectly heats the absorbent liquid inside the regeneration tower with heat from the cooling water.
