Abstract:
The present invention relates to carbonized pellets, having a high calorific value, of which the carbon element content is 50-99% and the lower heating value is 4500-8000 kcal/kg, and a method and an apparatus for preparing the carbonized pellets having a high calorific value. The method comprises the steps of: preparing wood chips by means of peeling wood; torrefying the prepared wood chips in an oxygen-free atmosphere; powderizing the torrefied wood chips by means of grinding; molding a mixture of a binder and a nano-metal catalyst solution and the torrefied wood chip powder into pellets; and carbonizing the molded pellets.
