Abstract:
Disclosed are a cargo sorter of a sliding opening/closing type and a cargo sorting method using same. A cargo sorter according to an embodiment comprises: a plurality of sorting openings forming separated spaces; a plurality of sliding opening/closing devices, each having an inclined surface formed as an opening/closing door at a location corresponding to each of the sorting openings to be aligned with other inclined surfaces, such that the cargo can be conveyed via the inclined surface and an entering route of the cargo is changed by opening the door to sort the cargo; a position determination unit which determines a proceeding route of the cargo, the proceeding route including a destination sorting opening to which the cargo is to be finally discharged, and controls the movement of the cargo according to the determined proceeding route; and an opening/closing controller which controls the opening/closing of each sliding opening/closing device such that the cargo can be discharged to the destination sorting opening determined by the position determination unit.
