Abstract:
Provided is a magnesium-alloy transmission case (1) for accommodating lubricant (OL) therein, wherein a magnesium hydroxide film (C) is formed on an inner wall surface (101) of the transmission case (1) with which the lubricant (OL) comes into contact to form a coated region (R1). By forming the film (C) on the inner wall surface (101) in advance, the inner wall surface (101) is prevented from being irregularly discolored to black due to the lubricant (OL). The film (C) on a bearing surface and the like is cut away to form an uncoated region (R2).
