Abstract:
In order to support transport of cash in different currencies of a plurality of countries, this cash transport system is configured to comprise: one or a plurality of cash processing devices for processing cash in a plurality of currencies, the one or plurality of cash processing devices being installed in a store; and a management device for assessing whether or not cash transport to the store to replenish the cash processing devices with cash is needed, and whether or not cash transport from the store to collect cash from the cash processing devices is needed. If it is assessed that cash transport is necessary, the management device calculates, on the basis of one currency preliminarily selected from among the plurality of currencies, a transport amount in which the amount of cash in each currency to be transported is converted into the amount of the selected currency and summed. If the transport amount exceeds a preliminarily set upper-limit amount, the management device issues a notification to a prescribed communication terminal.
