[Problem] To make and inexpensively provide an elliptic-cylindrical adhesive cleaner with a simple mechanism with which it is possible to perform cleaning in a hygienic manner by bringing up dust and dirt and without leaving an uncleaned part, and which is easy to use against a wall or in a narrow space. [Solution] Provided is a cleaning tool in which a roll-shaped adhesive sheet is attached to a holder that has an arm with a grip as a supporting shaft, the holder having a generally elliptic-cylindrical shape and being provided with elongate hole-shaped slide bearings coaxially penetrating therethrough. A roll-shaped adhesive sheet which has been crushed in an elliptic-cylindrical shape is attached to the holder, whereby, each time the sheet is rolled, a series of actions is repeated in which the supporting shaft slides along the inner peripheries of the bearings, allows the elliptic cylindrical holder to roll, and then slides again. In addition, a shaft locking hole and an engaging concave portion are provided in the front side and the rear side of the elliptic cylindrical holder, respectively. By pressing an arm side-groove portion into the engaging concave portion, the tip-end of the shaft is simultaneously loosely inserted into the shaft locking hole, and the rotation is stopped.
