Abstract:

The catalyst for hydrorefining distillate oil, which comprises a kind of alumina as catalyst carrier and at least a metal of VIB and/or its oxide and at least a metal of VIII and/or its oxide supported on the alumina carrier. The alumina carriers have a pore volume over 0.35 ml/g, with the pore volume of the pores that have pore diameter in the 4-10 nm range accounting for 80 % of the total pore volume, which was prepared by a special method. The catalyst shows high hydrogenation activity.
