Abstract:
This ceiling fan comprises a shaft anchored to the ceiling, a motor anchored to the shaft, blades that are rotated by the motor, a receiver, a controller, and a power source input unit. The receiver receives an operating mode signal, for controlling the rotation of the motor, from a remote control. The controller controls the rotation of the motor on the basis of the operating mode signal received by the receiver. The power source input unit supplies power to the motor. The controller comprises a storage unit and stores, in the storage unit, only rotation control signals, from among the operating mode signals received by the receiver, containing instructions to rotate the motor. When the power source input unit transitions from an unelectrified state in which no power is supplied to an electrified state in which power is supplied, the controller controls the rotation of the motor on the basis of the rotation control signal stored in the storage unit.
