Abstract:
A search system in which a graph is generated from a database of physical parameter pairs for which relationships are already known, the physical parameters being used as nodes and the relationships being used as edges, and a route search is performed on the generated graph, wherein a user can effectively use knowledge relating to the relationship information between uniquely possessed and not uniquely possessed physical parameters. In addition to the database, a graph generation unit for generating the graph, and a graph search unit for executing a search on the graph, the search system further comprises a user interface and a user information storage unit corresponding to each user. The user inputs the information about relationships between uniquely possessed physical parameters into the user information storage unit, and integrates the relationship information into the graph, whereby a unique search is executed for the user. Also, the history of searches performed by the user is stored in the user information storage unit, and the search history is analyzed, making it possible to provide new knowledge to the user.
