Abstract:
[Problem] To definitively detect obstacles which will impede travel, and to suppress erroneous detection of another ceiling-traveling vehicle as an obstacle. [Solution] A ceiling-traveling vehicle 100 is equipped with: a travel unit 20 for traveling along a lattice-shaped track R; a main body section 10 which is positioned below the track and is connected to the travel unit 20; and detection units 40 which are positioned rearward from the center of the main body section 10 in the direction of travel of the travel unit 20, are positioned below the main body section 10, emit a detection light L downward and forward in the direction of travel, and detect obstacles by receiving the reflected detection light L.
