Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent a drive wheel from falling into the gaps provided in a track, and make the positioning of an auxiliary track which an auxiliary wheel contacts unnecessary along a partial track thereof. [Solution] A traveling vehicle system, wherein: a track has a first gap, a partial track and a second gap; the traveling vehicle thereof has a drive wheel, a first auxiliary wheel and a second auxiliary wheel; a first auxiliary track is provided on the near side of the first gap in the direction of travel in a manner such that the bottom end of the first auxiliary wheel contacts the first auxiliary track while the bottom end of the drive wheel passes through the first gap when the drive wheel enters the partial track; a second auxiliary track is provided on the far side of the second gap in the direction of travel in a manner such that the bottom end of the second auxiliary wheel contacts the second auxiliary track while the bottom end of the drive wheel passes through the second gap when the drive wheel leaves the partial track; no second auxiliary track exists at the location of contact of the second auxiliary wheel while the first auxiliary wheel contacts the first auxiliary track; and no first auxiliary track exists at the location of contact of the first auxiliary wheel while the second auxiliary wheel contacts the second auxiliary track.
