Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of electrochemical devices, and discloses a cell assembly and an electrochemical device. The cell assembly comprises: a first winding body comprising a first electrode plate component, the first winding body being formed by winding the first electrode plate component about a first winding axis; and a second winding body comprising a second electrode plate component, the second winding body being formed by winding the second electrode plate component about a second winding axis. The outermost ring of the first electrode plate component and the outermost ring of the second electrode plate component are electrically connected, the first winding body and the second winding body are arranged in the same layer, and at least one side of the first winding body extends beyond the second winding body. This arrangement allows a special-shaped cell structure to be formed directly by means of winding, thereby effectively solving the problems of complex processes, structural limitations and soldering-related risks.
