Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a data transmission method and a device therefor, which are used in the scenario of Ethernet packet transmission. The method in the embodiments of the present application comprises: a first device receives a first message, load data in the first message comprising filling redundant data; the first device deletes the filling redundant data; the first device generates a second message, load data in the second message being payload data after deleting the filling redundant data in the first message; and the first device sends the second message to a second device. In the embodiments of the present application, by deleting the filling redundant data in the first message, the first device makes it unnecessary to transmit filling redundant data during air interface transmission, thus saving air interface resources and increasing the air interface capacity.
