Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] It is intended to provide a method for culturing and proliferating an adhesive animal cell normally in a floating state and colonizing the cultured and proliferated adhesive animal cells in a desired place again. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A cell release method according to the invention is characterized by adding lactoferrin to a culture medium in a fermentor in which the cells are cultured. A cell culture method according to the invention is characterized by performing suspension culturing of a cell in a culture medium containing lactoferrin. The cell colonization method according to the invention is characterized by diluting lactoferrin, transferring the culture medium containing floating cells to a fermentor coated with laminin, or adding glycosaminoglycan. In these methods, the cell is an adhesive animal cell and serum is contained in the culture medium.
