Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cell transfer device such that it is possible to monitor whether or not a cell cluster C is handled in a correct manner during transfer of the cell cluster C. This cell transfer device transfers a cell cluster C formed from a plurality of cells in a culture vessel 80 to a destination 90. The cell transfer device comprises: a holding unit 11 which can hold the cell cluster C in an observable manner; a movement unit 12 which moves the holding unit 11 so that the cell cluster C held by the holding unit 11 is moved from the culture vessel 80 to the destination 90; and an imaging unit 14 which acquires image data by imaging the cell cluster held by the holding unit 11 while the cell cluster C is being moved. By imaging the cell cluster C being moved, it is possible to directly monitor whether or not the cell cluster C is held by the holding unit 11. Therefore, it is possible to reliably confirm the state of transfer of the cell cluster C compared to a case where the cell cluster C is indirectly monitored by observing the inside of the culture vessel 80.
