Abstract:
The present invention provides a technique for stably dispersing, in an aqueous phase, a naturally-occurring free ceramide (particularly, a naturally-occurring human-type free ceramide) having a long-chain fatty acid in the ceramide backbone thereof. More specifically, provided is a ceramide dispersion composition containing a naturally-occurring free ceramide, a nonionic surfactant, a phospholipid, and a diol having 2-6 carbon atoms, wherein the contained mass ratio of the naturally-occurring free ceramide to the diol is 1:3-25, and a fatty acid included in the ceramide backbone of free ceramide contained in the naturally-occurring free ceramide has 20 or more carbon atoms.
