Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to: a CFRP structural body having improved flame retardancy; and a carbon fiber prepreg from which a CFRP structural body having improved flame retardancy can be obtained. This structural body comprising CFRP is characterized in that: the structural body is formed from a carbon fiber prepreg obtained by impregnating a carbon fiber mat formed of a bundle of chopped carbon fibers having a filament number of at most 3 K with a resin composition; the carbon fiber content of the CFRP is at least 60 mass%; and the structural body does not have a portion having a thickness less than 4 mm. The prepreg obtained by impregnating the carbon fiber mat with the resin composition is characterized in that: the carbon fiber mat is formed of a bundle of chopped carbon fibers having a filament number of at most 3 K; and the carbon fiber content of the prepreg is at least 60 mass%.
