Abstract:
A chain-driving mechanism and a conveyor apparatus have rollers (20) arranged to transport an object to be transported, a drive mechanism for interlocking and moving the rollers (20), and a motor (80) for applying drive force to the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism is constructed from sprockets (40) each coaxially and integrally rotating with each of the rollers (20), an endless chain (50) run around the sprockets (40), and chain guides (60, 61, 62) arranged adjacent to the chain (50) so as to clasp it from its vertically outside. This makes chain elongation adjustment unnecessary, prevents loosening off etc. of the chain, simplifies the structure, and reduces costs.
