Abstract:
A character input method, applied to an electronic device, comprising: detecting whether a cursor focus of the electronic device is located in a character editing box; sending, when it is detected that the cursor focus is located in the character editing box, a character editing request to an intelligent terminal that establishes a connection to the electronic device; receiving character editing information sent by the intelligent terminal according to the character editing request; parsing the character editing information to obtain a target character to be input; and inputting the target character into the character editing box.
