Abstract:

Provided are a character recognition device, a character recognition method, and a character recognition program for shortening the read time when reading a character string using a character recognition process. The present invention has: an extraction unit for extracting a specific character string from a captured image; a determination unit for determining a processing region of the captured image according to the position of the extracted specific character string; and, a recognition unit for performing character recognition on the determined processing region of the captured image.
