Abstract:
A charge control device 10 comprises: an environment prediction unit 142 that predicts, during charging of a battery 2 provided in a vehicle, the state of the external environment of the vehicle which has been charged; a target temperature setting unit 143 that sets a target temperature of the battery 2 at the time of completion of charging on the basis of the external environment state which has been predicted by the environment prediction unit 142; and a temperature adjustment unit 145 that adjusts the temperature of the battery 2 during charging so that the temperature of the battery 2 at the time of completion of charging becomes the target temperature which has been set by the target temperature setting unit 143.
