Title:
CHARGE GENERATION ELEMENT AND FINE PARTICLE NUMBER DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/208889
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A charge generation element 20 is an element that generates charges by means of aerial discharge. The charge generation element 20 is provided with: a dielectric material layer 22; a discharge electrode 26 that is provided on one surface of the dielectric material layer 22; an induction electrode 30 that is provided on the other surface of the dielectric material layer 22; and a nozzle 24 that is provided at a position where the nozzle does not interfere with the discharge electrode 26 and the induction electrode 30 such that the nozzle penetrates the dielectric material layer 22, said position being on the dielectric material layer 22. Charges generated at the discharge electrode 26 of the charge generation element 20 are discharged to the opposite side through the nozzle 24.
