Abstract:
A charging adapter according to one aspect of the present disclosure is provided with a first connection section, a second connection section, a power supply path, a converter, a communication circuit, a charging control circuit, a control power source, a first switch, a first internal path, a second internal path, a second switch, and a startup circuit. The charging control circuit executes charging control of a battery pack on the basis of the state of the battery pack connected to the second connection section, and/or first power supply information, and/or second power supply information. The charging control includes switching the converter to a first state or a second state. In the first state, the converter receives DC voltage from a power supply adapter via the first connection section, converts the DC voltage into charging voltage for charging the battery pack, and outputs the charging voltage to the second connection section. In the second state, the converter receives DC voltage from the power supply adapter via the first connection section and outputs the DC voltage to the second connection section.
