Abstract:
This charging system for a portable terminal device is provided with: a portable terminal device which is provided with a secondary battery and a control unit; a charging pad which supplies, in a contact-less manner, power for charging the secondary battery; and a communication apparatus which performs local communication with the portable terminal device. For the control unit, a designation of using the communication apparatus for the portable terminal device has been set, and in addition, if a call arrives at the portable terminal device while performing charging using the charging pad of the portable terminal device in a state in which communication is possible between the portable terminal device and the communication apparatus, the incoming call is transferred from the portable terminal device to the communication apparatus so as to allow the user of the portable terminal device to talk with the caller of the incoming call via the communication apparatus.
