Abstract:
A chemical heat storage material containing magnesium hydroxide and/or magnesium oxide, wherein the ratio of the half width of a diffraction peak at a Bragg angle of 2θ=38° in the (101) plane of magnesium hydroxide in X-ray diffraction measurement using CuKα rays after a hydration reaction of the chemical heat storage material to the half width of a diffraction peak at a Bragg angle of 2θ=43° in the (200) plane of magnesium oxide in X-ray diffraction measurement using CuKα rays after a dehydration reaction of the chemical heat storage material is 0.5-2 (inclusive).
