Title:
CHEMICALLY CURABLE GLASS-IONOMER CEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/125930
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To overcome all of the disadvantages of a light-curable glass-ionomer cement (GIC), and to provide a high-quality, safe chemically curable GIC which has a similar level of mechanical strength to that of a light-curable one and retains the characteristic properties and advantages of a GIC. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A chemically curable glass-ionomer cement comprising a microparticulate hydroxyapatite, wherein the microparticulate hydroxyapatite has an average particle diameter of not smaller than 0.6 μm and less than 100 μm and is made so porous as to increase its specific surface area.
