Abstract:
A fastening tool (1) for jointing two members (5, 6) comprises a ring body (3), a
plurality of ridges (4) formed at a spacing in the circumferential direction of
the ring body, and a plurality of recesses (10) formed in the ridges. As a result, a
stable frictional resistance can be applied to the two members when these two members
are moved relative to each other. In a steering device including an energy absorbing
mechanism (28) for absorbing a striking energy, moreover, the fastening tool
(1) can be employed in the energy absorbing mechanism (28).
