Abstract:
This chromatograph comprises a separation column having a stationary phase therein, a column cartridge that accommodates the separation column and is provided so as to be capable of being mounted at and removed from a predetermined column mounting position, an upstream pipe that is provided so as to be capable of being attached to and removed from the column cartridge mounted at the column mounting position and is for supplying a mobile phase to the separation column of the column cartridge, a downstream pipe that is provided so as to be capable of being attached to and removed from the column cartridge mounted at the column mounting position and is for sending out the mobile phase that has passed through the separation column of the column cartridge, and a cover that integrally surrounds the column mounting position, upstream pipe, and downstream pipe and separates the inside and outside. The cover comprises an insertion hole that penetrates the cover and allows the column cartridge to be mounted at the column mounting position from the outside of the cover. This facilitates separation column replacement while making it possible to reduce operator contact with separation-column-related parts.
