Abstract:
A chuck device equipped with a phase-determining mechanism, in which a phase-determining mechanism for determining the phase of a workpiece being gripped is configured to have a compact structure, the chuck device having: a chuck part formed in a device body so as to grip the workpiece using a chuck jaw; a phase-determining unit in which a phase-determining pin for insertion into a regulating hole formed in the side surface of a workpiece is formed at the distal-end section of a piston rod, and in which a cylinder body provided with a spring member for biasing the piston rod in a reverse direction with respect to the insertion into the regulating hole is provided integrally with the device body; and an operation unit provided with an actuator for pushing the piston rod in a direction in which the phase-determining pin is inserted into the regulating hole, the operation unit being disposed so as to be set apart from the device body.
