Abstract:

Provided is a cigarette filter comprising: a lyocell tow formed from a plurality of lyocell fibers; a binder for binding the lyocell fibers; and a solvent dispersed in the internal space of the cigarette filter comprising the lyocell tow, wherein the solvent comprises a polyhydric alcohol. According to one specific example of the present invention, the polyhydric alcohol is diol having C1 to C4 alkylene groups. The cigarette filter according to one specific example of the present invention overcomes a material-related problem of an existing lyocell tow, and has excellent hardness.
