Abstract:
The present invention makes it less likely for a pattern to appear on the surface of a sheet glass that is equipped with a low-emissivity film and a protective film for protecting said low-emissivity film. This coated sheet glass (Cg) comprises: a sheet glass (Gs) having a coating surface (Cs); a low-emissivity film (Le) which is disposed on the coating surface (Cs) and which includes a metallic layer and a dielectric layer therein; and a protective film (Pr) which is disposed on the low-emissivity film (Le) and contains silicon oxide. The thicknesses of the protective film (Pr) vary at respective places. The deviations of the thicknesses at the respective places with respect to the minimum limit sizes of the thicknesses each fall within the range of a tolerance (Tr) of the thickness at the corresponding place. The tolerance Tr is set to a value of not more than 10% of the minimum limit size (Ls). When the coated sheet glass (Cg) is observed on the protective film (Pr), the color difference ΔE between two places, which are a place where the thickness of the protective film Pr shows the maximum limit size and a place where the thickness of the protective film shows the minimum limit size Ls, is 3.5 or lower.
