Abstract:

A coating applicator for preventing an ejecting member from drying without deteriorating coating process efficiency. The coating applicator (1) ejects an ink eraser (7) to a color filter (19) from a coating applicator needle (8) attached to an ink tank (3) by permitting positive pressure to operate to the ink eraser (7) stored in the ink tank (3). The coating applicator is provided with a cooling/heating means (5) arranged on an outer plane of the coating applicator needle (8) in contact with the needle, for freezing, heating and thawing the ink eraser (7) in the coating applicator needle (8); and a control means (6) for controlling driving of the cooling/heating means (5). The ink eraser (7) in the coating applicator needle (8) is cooled or frozen when the ink eraser (7) is in an ejection standby status, and is heated or thawed for ejection, by being driven by the cooling/heating means (5).
