Abstract:
A coating composition which is to be applied to the surface of a stressing material for prestressed concrete. It comprises an oxidation-curing type resin modified with a fatty acid and a metal catalyst accelerating the curing of the resin and in which the curing time of the resin has been regulated so that the stressing material for prestressed concrete can produce its stressing effect after the lapse of 30 days from concrete casting. The coating composition for PC stressing materials hardly irritates the skin and can be used safely. It enables effective stressing even after concrete curing when applied even to large concrete structures. It further has excellent storage stability.
