Abstract:
Provided are a coating material composition with which it is possible to form a cured film free from flooding and color separation, and having exceptional weather resistance, as well as a solvent-based coating material, a water-based coating material, a powder coating material, and a coated article which employ this composition. This coating composition contains a fluorine-containing copolymer (A) and a pigment (B), the fluorine-containing copolymer (A) having units represented by the following formula (1) (where X and Y each independently represent H, F, CF3, or Cl) and units represented by the following formula (2). The number-average molecular weight of the fluorine-containing copolymer (A) is 10,000-100,000, and the content of the pigment (B) is 20-200 mass parts per 100 mass parts of the fluorine-containing copolymer (A).
