Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a coating material for coating a metal plate, the coating material being intended to be used for the formation of a coating film which has small sliding resistance in a portion having a risk of cracking during a press molding procedure and has excellent press moldability in a portion having a high surface pressure and assumed to suffer from the occurrence of mold galling, on a metal plate which cannot be press-molded easily and is intended to be subjected to complicated molding. A coating material comprising an acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 100°C or higher and an (acid value)-(glass transition temperature) ratio (R = acid value (mg-KOH/g)/Tg(°C)) of 1.50 or more and a polyolefin wax having a melting point of 100°C to 145°C inclusive and an average particle diameter of 3.0 μm or less is applied onto a metal plate.
