The present invention provides a combined beam generation device that realizes a greater reduction in size and that has reduced manufacturing costs due to an improvement in productivity accompanying the greater size reduction.　Provided is a combined beam generation device (101) comprising a plurality of laser diodes (3, 4, 5) that output different wavelengths of light, and an optical multiplexing circuit that includes a plurality of input optical waveguides (6) into which the different wavelengths of light are input from a plurality of input ports (18) and which guide the light to an optical multiplexer (7), the optical multiplexer (7), which combines the different wavelengths of light into multiplexed light, and an output optical waveguide (8) which outputs the multiplexed light from at least one output port (19), the combined beam generation device (101) being characterized in that the distance (16) between adjacent center axes of the plurality of input ports (18) is 100-700μm.
