Abstract:
A communication control method according to one embodiment is a method for controlling an early data transmission that transmits/receives user data during a random access procedure. This communication control method is provided with: a step A in which a wireless terminal that is in an RRC idle mode actuates a timer associated with the operation of the wireless terminal in the RRC idle mode; a step B in which, after a random access procedure is initiated, the wireless terminal receives from a base station an RRC message for normally terminating the random access procedure; and a step C in which, when the RRC message is a message for the early data transmission, the wireless terminal causes the operation of the timer to continue in response to the reception of the RRC message.
