Abstract:
In the present invention, a communication device operating in compliance with the IEEE 802.11ax standard selects to use either a null data packet feedback report poll (NFRP) or a buffer status report poll (BSRP) on the basis of predetermined conditions when collecting information regarding the amounts of data held by and to be transmitted from one or more other IEEE 802.11ax standard-compatible devices or information regarding the amounts of requested radio resources, and transmits a trigger frame (TF) for the NFRP or BSRP, whichever is selected, to collect the information from the one or more other devices.
