Abstract:
A vane rotor has a cylindrical part 13c that extends from the center of a rotor in the rotary shaft direction of the rotor and projects out of a housing 6. A torsion spring 26 for biasing the vane rotor in one direction of a relative rotational direction is disposed on the outer circumferential side of the cylindrical part, has an inner end part 26b held in a holding groove 25 of the cylindrical part, and has an outer end part 26a held by a holding pin 24 of a front plate 10. A spring cover 28 has an attaching part 28b which is attached to the cylindrical part by means of an elastic force via six cut parts 28d, and has a regulation part 28c which extends from the attaching part in the radial direction of a rotation axis of the housing and covers a plurality of strands of the torsion spring. Thus, the weight of the spring cover can be reduced, and the number of components can be reduced.
