Abstract:
In the present invention, a communication device compliant with the IEEE802.11 series standards is capable of communicating in a first mode in which transmission and reception are performed independently in individual frequency bands, or in a second mode in which transmission or reception is performed simultaneously in individual frequency bands. When it has been determined that a certain condition relating to the communication mode has been met during communication with a first other communication device using each of a plurality of frequency bands in the first or the second mode, the communication device determines, on the basis of the plurality of frequency bands, a plurality of frequency bands in which to perform communication in the post-change communication mode, and communicates with the first other communication device in the post-change communication mode using the determined plurality of frequency bands.
